1931年型　ＡＪＳ

1931年型のバイクです(^^)

「ＡＪＳ」っていう今はもうないイギリスのメーカー製。

排気量は500ｃｃ。

1931年型　AJS　排気量500ｃｃ

うちの曾おじいちゃんと、今年96歳になる

今のおじいちゃんが若い頃乗っていました。

79年前のバイクです♪

車体にサビがだいぶついてきてしまったので、メンテナンスに出して

いたのですが、それが終わり家に戻ってきたところです。

さすがにエンジンはかからないですけどね(^^;)

1931年型　AJS　排気量500ｃｃ

ＡＪＳっていうメーカー、調べてみると‥

1909年から1931年までバイクを作っていたようです。

なので、このバイクは末期のモデルってことになります(o^-^o)

中村米作

当時のうちお店では、ぐり茶（正式名称：玉緑茶）と呼ばれる

お茶を輸出向けに作っていました。（↑の写真のスーツ姿が曾おじいちゃん）


工場で出来上がったお茶のサンプルをいっぱいバックに入れ

それを背負って、ＡＪＳバイクに乗って、静岡市内の茶商さんや

貿易業者を回ったようです。

ぐり茶の製造　

そんなお店の記憶が刻まれたバイク。

メンテナンスは正直ちょっとお金がかかって、う～ん(^^;;とも

思いましたが、これからも大切にして

子どもや将来の孫に、お店の思い出話ととも伝えて

いければいいなぁって思います(^^)

その時代にバイクと言えども相当高級品だったと思います。

そういえば、箱屋にも陸王とかいう大きいバイクが
子供のころ有りました。
